BURGETTSTOWN SATELLITE OFFICE TO REOPEN

BURGETTSTOWN, May 23, 2005 - State Sen. J. Barry Stout is announcing that his satellite office in Burgettstown, closed in Sept. 2004 due to flood damage caused by Hurricane Ivan, will reopen on June 1.

“We are very fortunate to be able to reopen this soon, when so many families in Southwestern Pennsylvania are still recovering,” said Stout (D-Washington/Greene/Beaver/Westmoreland/Allegheny). “I will continue to fight for families who are rebuilding their homes and municipalities that are restoring roads due to flooding or slides.”

Office hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month. Constituents may drop by the office, located in the Burgettstown Borough Building, or call the office at 724-947-3055. Staff will be available during those times to address or assist in any state-related matter. As before, people may still visit the main district office in Eighty Four (1024 Route 519, Suite 400) or call that office at 724-225-5400.
